Originally created for a gamejam over the space of two weeks, A World Adjacent is a prototype for a top-down, pixel-art interactive fiction game, built using Bevy 0.14.
Navigate through The Eternal City, speak with its denizens and investigate the mysterious objects in your old mentor's apartment.
Controls:
X - start the game
W,A,S,D - move character, change dialogue options
E - interact with objects, advance text, select dialogue options
ESC - restart the game with no warning - sorry, ran out of time!
