Signal Drift
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Signal Drift
Signal Drift is an interactive radio simulation with a spooky twist - amongst the normal radio stations, there are evil signals haunting your airwaves, causing you to lose your mind.
Stuck in a blizzard with only the radio and previous staff's logbook's to keep you company, what signals will you stumble upon during these three days?

Controls/Tips
Movement: WASD
Interact with object: F
Scroll through journal: Q and E
Leave radio interface, open menu: Escape
This prototype features a real sofware defined radio (SDR)! Interact with the computer to bring up the radio tuning interface.
Below are some tips on using the radio in game:
Tune the radio by pressing the + and - buttons along the top of the waterfall area - the blue rectangle in the middle of the interface - to scroll through it.
The bright areas of the waterfall are the radio broadcast signals - if you land on a signal but can't hear anything clearly, click through the different modes until you can hear something.
AM and FM signals will be brighter on the display, and you'll want to tune into the middle of these to get the best sounding signal.
Usb and Lsb signals, generally used in ametuer radio, require a bit more fine-tuning, and may not come through clearly . You can try moving the tuner either a little bit to the left or right of the signal to help hear it a little clearer.
If you hit the Escape key while the radio is on, you're free to wander about the cabin - you will still hear the radio if you're close enough to it.
Journals left by previous weather staff can be read - these are in some of the books next to the computer/radios.
At 23:00, no further radio broadcasts will play. To advance the day, find the bed and interact with it for a new day's broadcast schedule!
